Further answers about Race Training
What is Race Training?
Our Race Training is for anyone who wants to specifically improve their technique, line choice and speed. Depending on your ability level, the focus is on giant slalom, slalom, technique training and video analysis.
Who is Race Training suitable for?
The Race Training is suitable for good to very good skiers and snowboarders who want to develop their skills in ski racing. Whether it’s your first experience with gate training or you already have advanced racing technique, we support every performance level individually.
Do I have to be a racer?
No. The training is suitable for ambitious recreational skiers as well as young racers or club skiers.
Which disciplines are trained?
Depending on your training goal and the conditions, we train giant slalom, slalom, technique, carving, line choice and start technique.
Where does Race Training take place?
Depending on the season, slope conditions and training goal, the training takes place on the Hintertux Glacier . We recommend booking early, as we need to organise a suitable slope.
Do I need race skis?
Not necessarily. For gate training, we recommend appropriate race equipment—feel free to contact us for advice.
Is the training individual?
Yes. Content, intensity and exercises are adapted to age, ability and personal goals.
Can I book as an individual?
Yes. Race Training can be booked as private training for individuals, families, clubs or small groups—we’ll be happy to create an individual offer for you.
How long does a Race Training session last?
The duration of a Race Training session is entirely based on your wishes and goals. Whether 2 hours, 4 hours or a full training day, we tailor the training to your requirements. We take care of the complete organisation, including course setup, gate and equipment setup, delivery and dismantling.
Are video analyses offered?
Yes, on request. Video recordings help analyse technique and skiing style in detail and improve them in a targeted way.
Are gates and training material provided?
Yes. Training equipment such as stubby gates or gates will be, if part of the training and the booking, provided by us.
