From what age can children participate?
From 3 years in the Bambini course. From 4 years, the Compact and Intensive kids’ ski courses are available.
Does my child need to be able to ski already?
No. Our courses are suitable for beginners as well as advanced children.
How are the groups divided?
Primarily by skiing ability. Use our level finder to book the right course.
Are there different skill levels?
Yes. From beginners who have never been on skis to confident carvers, we offer suitable groups for every skill level.
What is the difference between Compact and Intensive?
Both courses offer professional ski instruction and plenty of fun on the slopes. While the Compact course leaves time for family activities after lessons, the Intensive course offers an extended program with optional lunch supervision.
When is the Intensive course offered?
The Intensive course also takes place during selected holiday weeks. You can find the possible booking times in the price list or in the info box.
When does the Compact course take place in winter?
The Compact course is offered throughout the winter season in the ski areas at Hintertux Glacier and Rastkogel. For beginners who have never been on skis or cannot independently brake and turn, only the Intensive group course is available during peak season. You can find the possible booking times in the price list or in the info box.

Are there children's ski courses in autumn?
Yes. From early October, we offer kids’ ski courses at Hintertux Glacier.
Are courses offered in Hintertux and on Rastkogel?
Yes. During the winter season, our kids’ ski courses take place in both ski areas, in autumn exclusively at Hintertux Glacier.
Where do I find the meeting point?
You can find all important information on our website, in your booking confirmation, and in our customer portal. You will receive access to the customer portal by email about two days before the course starts. If you have any questions on-site, our office team is always happy to help.
Why can the meeting point change in autumn?
In autumn, we adjust our meeting point according to current snow conditions to offer you and your child optimal conditions. You will receive all information about the meeting point via our customer portal about two days before the course starts. You will receive the corresponding link by email.
Can my child be in a group with friends?
We are happy to accommodate requests, provided age and skiing ability match.
Can siblings ski together?
We are happy to accommodate requests, provided age and skiing ability match.
How big are the groups?
We place great importance on comfortable group sizes so that each child can receive individual attention. The Compact and Intensive groups consist of a maximum of 12 children, the Bambini courses of a maximum of 6 children.
Are there small Bambini groups?
Yes. Our Bambini courses are conducted in small groups with a maximum of six children.
Do the ski instructors also speak English?
Yes, our instructors all speak German and English.
Does my child need to wear a helmet?
Yes. Helmets are mandatory for all children.
Does my child need a ski pass?
Yes, generally a valid ski pass is required. This is not included in the course ticket and must be purchased separately. Exceptions are children up to 6 years old, who, according to the regulations of the mountain railways, ride for free in all ski areas.
Is lunch and supervision available?
Yes. For the Intensive course, a supervised lunch break including lunch can be booked additionally.
Is lunch and supervision also available for the Bambini course?
Yes. This can be booked on site if the parents are also taking a course.
How long should a ski course last?
A ski course lasts between 3 and 6 days, for the best possible learning success, we recommend 5 or 6 course days.
Is there a ski race at the end of the course?
Yes, a race takes place every week during the winter season. Rastkogel – for all groups the race is on Thursday at approximately 11 AM. Hintertux – Bambini and Basic Green have their race on Wednesday at approximately 12 PM. All others have their race on Thursday at approximately 11 AM. Your ski instructor will be happy to inform you.
Can parents watch the lessons?
To help the children concentrate better, we ask parents not to stay in the immediate vicinity.
What happens if my child needs help?
Our ski instructors will contact you at any time via the phone number provided during booking.
What should my child bring to the course?
Ski equipment, helmet, ski goggles, warm clothing, gloves, and sun protection are part of the basic equipment.
When should I book?
We recommend booking online early, as many courses book up quickly.
Can my child change groups during the course?
Yes. If another group is a better fit, we will of course make the change.
Do the courses take place in all weather conditions?
Yes. The courses generally take place in all weather conditions.
What happens in case of bad weather?
Our ski instructors adapt the lessons to the current weather and slope conditions.
How quickly do children learn to ski?
Every child learns differently. With regular lessons and the right group, significant progress is often visible after just a few days.
Can I cancel or reschedule the lesson?
Cancellations are not possible. We therefore recommend that you take out course cost insurance. Weather-related cancellations or rebookings are also excluded. The respective valid General Terms and Conditions apply.

Are there cheaper prices for extension days?
